ORLANDO, FL. (THECOUNT) — Miguel Valentin-Colon and Nicole Merced Plaud, have been identified as the bodies discovered in a burned out vehicle in Buffalo, NY, according to Tuesday morning reports.
The couple was found deceased in a charred vehicle near a boy who was found alone sitting on a porch in Buffalo, police confirmed Tuesday. They are reportedly the boy’s parents.
The couple’s toddler son was found in a box at the doorstep of a house on Potomac Street in Buffalo, near where the burned vehicle was found.
Valentin and Plaud, both from Longwood, had been reported missing.
Investigators said they are working to determine whether a third set of remains found in a different location are those of Dhamyl Roman-Audiffred, who was also reported missing.
The boy is in the custody of his grandparents, who are also from Central Florida.
Police previously released surveillance video that appears to show two people running from the burning car with the boy in tow, reported WESH.
Investigators said they are still searching for the suspects.
