CREEK COUNTY, OK. (THECOUNT) — Brittany Victory, of Kellyville, OK, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle in Creek County, OK, on Friday night, according to Saturday morning reports.
Victory, 33, was struck by a vehicle while on-foot in the area of Highway 66 near Sapulpa on Friday night.
Trooper say, Victory was killed around 8 pm Friday night just west of Sapulpa after being struck by an SUV on Highway 66 on Friday night.
According to OHP, a driver stopped on Highway 66 to retrieve some items that had fallen out of a pickup truck and onto the roadway. An approaching SUV swerved to miss that person but in the process, struck Victory, who was walking along the roadway.
Troopers say Victory was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
No one else was injured in the collision.
