TX Man Dale Blake Shot Dead In Humble Tuesday By ‘GF’ 30-Year-Old Latonya Jones

HARRIS COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Latonya Jones has been identified as the 30-year-old Texas woman accused in the shooting death of her 65-year-old boyfriend, Dale Blake, of Humble, TX.

Jones is facing a murder charge after deputies arrived to 20030 Pinehurst Trail Dr, in Humble, TX, on a call of shots fired Tuesday night around 9:30 p.m. Public records show Blake resided at the Pinehurst Trail Dr address.

According to reports, Blake reported his own shooting in a frantic 911 call from his home Tuesday night.

Deputies later confirmed that Jones shot and killed Blake for unknown reasons inside his northeast Harris County home Tuesday evening.

The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office says deputies responded to a “in progress life in danger” call at that time. The male caller told 911 operators that his girlfriend had shot him, reports KHOU.

Blake, was airlifted by Life Flight to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.

Deputies say murder charges are pending against Jones.

A motive in the shooting has not been released.
