CONWAY, AR. (THECOUNT) — Demetres Cole of Conway, Arkansas, has been identified as the victim in a fatal vehicle-versus-semi crash in Conway on Sunday.
Cole, 48, was operating an SUV early Sunday when he collided with a semi-tractor in Conway.
The crash occurred shortly after 2:00 a.m. Sunday after, according to a preliminary crash report, the Dodge Durango driven by Cole came into contact with a Freightliner semi while taking exit 125.
Cole’s vehicle then exited the roadway and struck a tree.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
