BALTIMORE, MD. (THECOUNT) — David Mackall Jr. has been identified as the victim in a fatal shooting in Walbrook neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland Wednesday afternoon, according to officials.
Mackall, 28, was identified as the former Maryland football player found suffering from fatal gunshot injuries following a shooting in the city’s western district.
Police responded to a call of shots fired in the area of the 1700 block of Braddish Avenue after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Mackall was discovered suffering from gunshot wounds to the head and torso.
He was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
Police did not name a suspect or anyone arrested in his death, reports BaltimoreSun.
The Edmondson graduate played football at the University of Maryland from 2010-11 before finishing his career at the University of Delaware from 2012-13.
