MONROE COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Jackson woman, Nancy Skinner, has been identified as the victim in a head-on collision in Monroe County Saturday morning.
According to the sheriff’s office, the crash occurred around 6:40 a.m. in Jackson, Georgia on High Falls Road near the Sunoco.
According to reports, Timothy Turner was operating a Jeep, when for unknown reasons, crossed centerlines and drove into opposing traffic.
Turner’s vehicle then collided with Skinner’s Nissan head-on.
Skinner was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
Turner had minor injuries.
It is unknown if charges will be brought against Turner at this time, and an investigation into the accident is ongoing, reports 13WMAZ.
