CASS COUNTY, MI. (THECOUNT) — Joseph Johnson from Niles, Michigan, has been identified as the victim in a fatal multi-vehicle crash in Cass County Tuesday night.
Johnson, 52, was riding as a passenger in a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Ryon Koth, of Koth Enterprises, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed conterlines of U.S. 12 and headed into oncoming traffic.
Koth’s vehicle then struck two other vehicles traveling in the opposite direction.
Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the violent crash.
Koth was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
