WAYNE COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — Elise Renee Mosca has been identified as the Tennessee woman arrested after being accused of shooting her husband dead following a Lawrenceburg domestic dispute.
Mosca was taken in custody Tuesday night and charged with the second-degree murder in the shooting death of her husband, James John Donahue.
Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the shooting at about 9:50 p.m. along Suckstem Branch Road in the northern part of the county, reports Fox17.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound.
Donahue was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.
A subsequent investigation into what may have led up to the shooting revealed a likely domestic dispute.
Mosca is being held without bond in Wayne County Jail pending an upcoming court date, Fox17 reported Wednesday.
