MARQUETTE, MI. (THECOUNT) — Alexander Fisher, of Chassell, Michigan, has been identified as the victim in a vehicle-vs-logging truck accident in Portage Township Friday.
Alex Fisher, 19, was operating a vehicle when he collided with a logging truck Friday morning at around 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of US-41 and Denton Road in Portage Township, Michigan.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police-Calumet Post witnessed the crash. 19-year-old Alexander Fisher of Chassell was driving west on Denton Road and failed to stop at the intersection. source
A logging truck was going south on US-41 when it came into contact with Fisher’s vehicle causing a crash.
Fisher was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the collision.
The truck driver was uninjured.
