SYRACUSE, NY. (THECOUNT — Christopher Hickey, of Syracuse, NY, has been identified as the victim found stabbed to death on State Street in Syracuse Sunday.
“Chris” Hickey, 19, died Sunday morning after being stabbed in the chest by an unknown suspect, according to Syracuse police.
The victim was stabbed by “someone he was familiar with” during a dispute, according to police spokesman Det. George Hack.
Police said officers arrived at 1104 N. State St. around 12:58 a.m. today where they discovered the aftermath of the stabbing. Police identified the victim as Christopher Hickey, 19, of Syracuse. source
Hickey was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of stab wound consistent with the deadly ordeal.
No arrests have been made, investigators said.
The investigation is “very active and ongoing,” according to police.
