There are reports of an active shooter at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, just east of Dayton, on Thursday at around 12:40 p.m.
The base tweeted that there was an incident, and that personnel are to shelter in place.
“At approximately 12:40 p.m., base emergency responders (security forces, fire department) responded to a reported Active Shooter incident at the base hospital. Base personnel have been directed to shelter in place until the incident is investigated,” the Air Force base tweeted. source
The hospital being evacuated and police are still in the process clearing the building, local reports say.
