The Kentucky State Police identified James Shepherd as one of two people killed in a motorcycle crash near Kemper yesterday.
Jim Shepherd, 56, from Phyllis KY, was the operating a motorcycle when the crash occurred. Geneva Hunter, 76, of Phyllis, KY, a passenger on the motorcycle, was also killed.
According to officials the crash happened just before 3 P.M. on Upper Johns Creek Road. Troopers say a motorcycle was traveling east on KY 632 when the driver lost control and drove into a creek bed. source
