A Las Vegas cop was shot Sunday afternoon in what officials are calling an ambush.
The officer was transported to a local hospital, his condition is unknown.

The shooting occurred around noon near Tropicana Avenue and Nellis Boulevard. Police reported three shots were fired at the officer “ambush-style.” The officer has been taken to UMC Trauma for treatment. h/t scrippsmedia
Police have not released any additional details.
This is the second officer to be shot in Vegas in the line of duty this month.
