Simone Battle, singer in quintette G.R.L., was found dead in her Los Angeles home on Friday.
The death is currently under investigation. Battle was only 25.
“She will be greatly missed and loved,” Simone‘s father Anthony Battle told the Daily Mail. “She was an exuberant person and a very loved person.” The group’s founder Robin Antin has released a joint statement with Reign Deer Entertainment, Kemosabe Records, RCA Records. “We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Simone Battle of G.R.L.,” the statement reads. “Simone was an exceptional young talent and human being, and we are all devastated to learn of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones at this time.” source
