The Bynes attorney is trying to record straight on speculation Amanda suffers from schizophrenia, mostly because people with schizophrenia — don’t get movie roles..
Now Amanda’s mom is taking the rumor to task, telling Us Weekly via the family lawyer that there hasn’t been any diagnosis at all.
“Amanda has no mental illness whatsoever. She has never been diagnosed as schizophrenic or bipolar,” Lynn Bynes tells Us by way of attorney Tamar Arminak. “She is very sorry for all the hurtful tweets, statements, and actions that occurred while she was under the influence of marijuana.” source
“Amanda currently is on zero medication. She’s devoted to living her life as healthy as possible,” Tamar added to the statement. “Her family is closely involved with her day-to-day life, but they try to give her as much autonomy as possible.”
