Rekia Kinnebrew has been identified as the Knoxville woman found shot dead in a Cherry Street residence.

Police responded near 5th Avenue and N. Cherry Street around 3 a.m. Sunday morning on reports of gunshots heard in the area.

Upon arrival to the area, investigators discovered a woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside a home located at 401 S Cherry St, Knoxville, TN. Continue reading

TN Man Carlos Darnell Dixon Charged In Cesar Reza Murder At Antioch Hookah Lounge

Carlos Darnell Dixon has been charged with murder in the shooting death of Nashville man, Cesar Reza, 24, in the parking lot of an Antioch hookah bar last Friday morning

Dixon, 33, was taken in custody by Metro Nashville Police in connection to the fatal shooting that occurred at Arabian Palace Lounge located at 1135 Bell Rd, Antioch, TN., last week.

Reza and two friends pulled into the busy parking lot with the intention of going to Arabian Palace Hookah Lounge. Witnesses told police the pair pulled up behind a man, later identified as Dixon, who was trying to back out of the parking lot. Continue reading

Bob Cruz ID’d As San Antonio Man Killed In Pine Street Police Involved Shooting

Robert “Bob” Cruz has been named as the man shot and killed by a San Antonio police officer Monday evening in an incident that occurred on the city’s East side.

Officials responded to S Pine St & Iowa St., at about 5:45 p.m. on reports of an officer-involved shooting.

Police said the man was pointing a gun at people at the VIA bus stop. When the officer arrived, he found him walking away from the bus stop. The officer started honking at him to get his attention. Police said the suspect then spun toward him and opened fire on the officer. A VIA Police officer then pulled up behind the officer when the shooting started. The officer returned fire through the windshield of his vehicle, striking the suspect, who fled around 15 yards before collapsing and dying. Continue reading

Tanisha Hairston ID’d As WV Woman Found Shot Dead In Dunbar

Tanisha Lavonne Hairston, 29, of Charleston has been identified by Dunbar Police as the woman found dead Tuesday morning along Roxalana Hills Drive, Dunbar, WV.

Police say Hairston, 29, of Charleston, was found just over a hill located near a group of townhouses. She appears to have been shot.

Investigators found several blood-covered items lying in the parking lot, as well as bullet casings. Tuesday night police were looking for a possible person of interest in the Walmart parking lot at Southridge. Police have not released any other information in the case. Continue reading

Officials say 34-year-old Hassan Gailani shot two people dead at Sterling, VA., Hookah bar, Pharaoh’s Cafe Monday.

Two people were reportedly shot dead at Sterling Hookah Bar Pharaoh’s Cafe early Monday morning, according to authorities.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office says they were called to the Pharaoh Café located at, 46000 Old Ox Rd Ste 107 Sterling, VA., for a reported shooting at around 1:45 a.m. Officials say two people died at the scene. Continue reading

Chris Snyder Wife Held Captive, Escaped MD Home Shortly Before Deadly Brookeville Rampage Murder-Suicide

The wife of Christopher Wilson Snyder, the MD man involved in a violent Brookeville murder-suicide, says she was held captive by him and had escaped shortly before he conducted his deadly rampage.

According to a recent release, there were three people who were killed at 22002 Brown Farm Way and three people that were able to escape.

54-year-old Craig Harold Shotwell, a construction worker from Owings Mills, was one of the three killed. Police say he was simply working on Snyder’s neighbors home during the shooting.

The other two people killed were Mary Anne Olson, 66, who was Snyder’s neighbor, and 70-year-old Danny Lee Murphy who had come from South Dakota to visit Snyder’s neighbors. Continue reading

NC Man “Leroy Simmons” Found Dead Inside Sanford Home Boy 15 Sought In Fatal Shooting

Leroy Simmons of Sanford, North Carolina, has been named as the man found dead inside his Dalrymple Street residence shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday.

Police say they are now seeking a 15-year-old boy in the murder of Simmons, 48, after the boy opened fire at a home located at 2218 Dalrymple Street, Sanford, NC.

‘Josue D. Alonzo, Jr’ Identified As IA Man Found Shot Dead In Des Moines

Des Moines police have identified, Josue D. Alonzo Jr., as the victim found laying in the street after they received a call of shots fire area of East 30th Street and Garfield Friday evening.

Alonzo, Jr., 20, of Des Moines, was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Shukri Ali Said” ID’d As GA Woman Killed In Duluth Officer Involved Shooting

Shukri Ali Said has been identified as the woman killed by Georgia police after she refused to relinquish a knife she was allegedly brandishing in Johns Creek, Duluth.

Despite being struck with a barrage of non-lethal foam exact impact rounds and being tased, Said, 36, maintained control of the knife, which resulted in officers firing at the woman, wounding her, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Said was transported by ambulance to Emory Johns Creek Hospital, where she pronounced dead. Continue reading

CA Mother Shot Dead, Young Daughter Critically Injured In Double Willowbrook Shooting

[ABC7] A mother was killed and her 8-year-old daughter was critically wounded in a double shooting early Saturday morning in Willowbrook, authorities said.

Deputies responded about 1:45 a.m. to a report of a gunshot victim in the 12400 block of Grandee Avenue, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. They arrived to discover a woman who had been shot at least once in her upper body. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The deputies also found two of the women’s children – a 1-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl – who were unharmed. Continue reading
