TX Man Cody Tepera Charged In Overnight Bremond Murder Of Man

BREMOND, TX. (THECOUNT) — Cody Tepera, of Bremond, TX, has been arrested and charged in the shooting death of an unidentified man overnight at a residence.

Tepera, 29, is the suspect in a shooting that occurred in a Bremond neighborhood Monday night and resulted in one man dead.

According to Robertson County Sheriff Gerald Yezak, the shooting happened at a home near S. Anderson and E. Jack St, in Bremond, TX, sometime after 8 p.m., officials say.

Sheriff Yezak says two men and a woman were in a disagreement in the back carport area of the home when shots rang out. When deputies arrived, the male victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead.

At Least 6 Injured Including Child Thursday In Syracuse NY Midland Ave Shooting

SYRACUSE, NY. (THECOUNT) — Several people, including a child, were shot on the Syracuse’s south side on Thursday night near Kirk Park.

Syracuse Police say they responded to a call of shots fired in the 1300 block of Midland Avenue. Upon arrival, police say they discovered multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police say the shots came from across the street where the victims were gathered outside.

All injured have been transported to area hospitals with unknown injuries. Continue reading

Las Vegas Canyon Springs High School Shooting Leaves One Dead Tuesday UPDATE

NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV. (THECOUNT) — 13 Action News Las Vegas is reporting, one student has died in a shooting on the Canyon Springs High School campus Tuesday afternoon.

North Las Vegas police said the shooting happened on a baseball field at the school, located near Alexander Road and North 5th Street.

GA Driver Killed In Vehicle On Decatur Interstate 285 And Backseat Shooter Identified

DECATUR, GA. (THECOUNT) — Police have identified the victim shot while in a vehicle on Interstate 285 near Flat Shoals Road Thursday morning in DeKalb County has been identified as 41-year-old Mario Washington.

The shooter, who was apparently seated in the backseat of the vehicle, has been named as 29-year-old Cedric Martin.

Washington was a father of 13, family member told local press.

Police said Martin was playing with the gun he recently got when it accidentally fired. Continue reading

Couple ID’d As Murder-Suicide Victims In Wednesday Valhalla Hospital Shooting

MOUNT PLEASANT, NY. (THECOUNT) — The two people dead in a murder-suicide incident at Westchester Medical Center, in Valhalla, NY, Wednesday, have been identified as a married couple from Yorktown.

They are Richard DeLucia, 71, and his wife, Ann DeLucia, 70, who was a patient at the hospital, according to Kieran O’Leary, public information officer for the Westchester County Police Department. source

Kansas City Man Identified As Victim Found Fatally Shot Outside Raytown Apartment Complex

KANSAS CITY, KS. (THECOUNT) — Kansas City police have identified, Coty D. Henry, of Kansas City, as the man found fatally wounded inside a vehicle outside of a Raytown apartment building.

Henry, 25, was found suffering from gunshot wounds in a parking lot of The Trails at the Ridge apartments in the 8600 block of East 61st Terrace.

Police were called to the scene at about 2:45 p.m.

Henry was pronounced dead at the scene.

WV Man Danny Marks ID’d As Victim In Fatal Roane County Double-Shooting “A.J.” King Under Arrest

ROANE COUNTY, WV. (THECOUNT) — The search for a Roane County man accused of shooting two people has ended in his apprehension.

Danny Marks was named as one of two victims shot Wednesday and he died in the hospital as a result of those injuries. A woman was also shot and is expected survive.

West Virginia State Police say they arrested 31-year-old Andrew “A.J.” King, (pictured above,) as the suspected shooter.

King, who is 31-years-old, had been making threats to his grandfather and law enforcement late Wednesday night. Law enforcement started chasing King when he took off on an ATV and wrecked it next door. Continue reading

Suspect In Mount Clemens Murder Of Clinton Township Man Charlie McGowan In Custody In Chicago

MOUNT CLEMENS, MI. (THECOUNT) — Perry Bernard Rouse Jr., the man sought by police in connection to the Mount Clemens homicide of Clinton Township man, Charlie McGowan, was taken into custody Saturday by United States marshals at a motel outside of Chicago.

According to authorities, Rouse was located at a Motel 6 in Harvey, Illinois and was taken into custody without incident. He is expected to be housed at the Chicago Police Department until his extradition to Macomb County.

NC Sanford Latin Dance Studio Party Shooting Leaves One Dead 7 Injured

SANFORD, NC. (THECOUNT) — One person was killed and another seven injured after gunfire erupted at a rented Stanford, NC., dance studio holding a birthday party event. 27-year-old, Travis Mclean, was identified as the deceased victim.

The shooting incident occurred during a birthday party early Sunday morning at Sanford Latin Dance Studio located at, 109 S Steele St, Sanford, NC., according to a press release from the Sanford Police Department.

Sanford Police responded to the 100 block of Carthage Street in reference to someone being shot. Upon arrival, police located several victims who had sustained gunshot wounds. Shooter Injures 2 At WA Walmart Before Armed Customer Shoots Suspect Dead In Parking Lot

TUMWATER, WA. (THECOUNT) — A suspected gunman wounded two people at a Tumwater, Washington state, Walmart before being fatally shot by an armed shopper Sunday evening.

The incident happened about 5 p.m. at the Walmart Superstore in Tumwater.

KOMO-TV reports that a witness says people were in line when they heard gunfire in the store. The station reports that as people fled the store, the gunman followed and shots were heard outside. Continue reading
