OR Man Keith Lee ID’d As Victim In Thursday Morning Fatal Albany Crash

LINN COUNTY, OR. (THECOUNT) — Keith Merritt Lee, of Independence, Oregon, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday morning two-vehicle crash in Linn County.

Lee, 35, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Albany early Thursday morning.

According to reports, Lee was operating an Acura Integra on Highway 20 near Albany, when for unknown reason, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 5:45 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle then came into contact with a Ford F350 pickup truck.

Lee was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash of blunt force trauma injuries.

OH Man Anthony Yates ID’d As Victim In Thursday Fatal Ostrander Motorcycle Crash

DELAWARE COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Anthony Yates, of Richwood, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday morning motorcycle crash in Delaware County.

Yates, 37, was killed in a single-motorcycle crash in Scioto Township early Thursday morning.

According to reports, Yates was operating a motorcycle on OH-37 near Brindle Road in Ostrander, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 3:15 a.m. Thursday. The bike then entered a culvert and made contact with a building.

Yates was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.

GA Teen Fatally Shoots Father Wesley Gales Wednesday Night Citing Abuse Of Mother

COLUMBIA COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Wesley Jordan Gales, of Applong, Georgia, has been identified as the victim in a fatal shooting in Columbia County Wednesday night.

Gales, 66, was shot dead by his teenage son while they were on the porch of their Appling home Wednesday.

According to reports, Gales was on the back porch of his home, located at, 3353 Gales Rd in Appling, when his son shot him in the head around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. The teen later told investigators “that he had enough of his father abusing his mother,” deputies say.

Deputies arrived to find Gales’ ex-wife, Deborah Gales, there along with their 15-year-old son still at the residence, according to the sheriff’s agency.

The son was interviewed and confessed shooting his father with a .22-caliber Marlin semi-automatic rifle, according to officials.

The teen was charged with murder and transported to youth detention, according to the agency.

KY Man Dalton Doggrell ID’d As Victim In Tuesday Louisville Fatal Shooting

JEFFERSON COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Dalton Doggrell, of Louisville, Kentucky, has been identified as the victim found shot dead Tuesday morning in Jefferson County.

Doggrell, 27, was found suffering from gunshot injuries near Louisville Early Tuesday.

According to reports, officers responded to a call of a man down in the 4100 block of Senn Road in Louisville around 4 a.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, Doggrell was found deceased of apparent multiple gunshot wounds.

Police said Doggrell’s manner of death is listed as a homicide from multiple gunshot wounds.

No suspects have been identified and police are asking anyone with information to call 502-574-LMPD.

Swearington, 40, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Rice Township Tuesday night.

According to reports, Swearington was operating a vehicle on SR-523 near Fremont, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then made contact with a highway sign and a tree.

VA Rapper Brian ‘Kent Won’t Stop’ Trotter Found Dead In Miami Car Trunk

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Rapper Brian Trotter, was found dead inside a vehicle trunk in Miami, Florida on Sunday.

Robert Deupree Avery Coltrain, 25, was arrested and charged with illegal transport of human remains and second-degree murder in the death of the fellow 25-year-old, who went by the rap name, “Kent Won’t Stop.”

According to reports, Florida Highway Patrol responded to a crash on the Palmetto Expressway Sunday afternoon and found Coltrain and his silver Acura. Authorities said they became suspicious because they noticed buzzing flies and the smell of rotting flesh around the car.

Troopers towed the car to the parking lot of Hialeah’s Westland Mall and became suspicious of Coltrain when he asked to remove his belongings from the car, which included a gun case, reports FOXLA.

Troopers opened Coltrain’s trunk and found Trotter’s body “wrapped in a piece of fabric and in an advanced stage of decomposition,” the police report said.

An autopsy revealed Trotter was fatally shot multiple times.

A motive for the killing wasn’t immediately released. It’s unclear whether Coltrain had an attorney who could comment on his behalf.

Trotter was last seen on Oct. 17 leaving his home in Triangle, Virginia with Coltrain, who is also from Virginia.

The two had been friends for more than a decade. Trotter’s family said he was trying to forge a hip-hop career.

Jamie Foxx Sister DeOndra Dixon Dead At 36

LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — Jamie Foxx is mourning the loss of his sister, DeOndra Dixon, who the comedian announced passed away on Monday. She was 36.

According to Foxx, his sister’s passing “left a hole in my heart.”

In a moving post, Jamie wrote, “Anyone who knew my sis… knew that she was a bright light… I can’t tell you how many times we have had parties at the house where she has got on the dance floor and stolen the show… even gave her boyfriend @chrisbrownofficial a run for his money,” according to TMZ.

“well I know she is in heaven now dancing with her wings on…tho my pain is unbelievable I smile when I think of all of the great memories that she left me… my family… and her friends,” Foxx wrote.

Back in 2018, Jamie credited DeOndra for always reminding him of what’s really important in life — “You see this girl over here, ‘I just want to live. I want to dance. I want to love.’ So, she brings you back down to what life is.”

Foxx said some of the fondest memories of his sister included DeOndra being named Ambassador for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation in 2011 and her dancing in his “Blame It” music video.

Chappelear, 52, was killed in a motorcycle crash near Panama City Beach Saturday night.

According to reports, Chappelear was riding as a passenger on a Harley Davidson Street Glide, operated by 44-year-old Christopher Ray Collier of Fleming island, Florida, in the area of Front Beach Road and Petrel Street, Panama City Beach, when the bike came into contact with a Lincoln MKX around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

Collier was critically injured in the collision.

Chappelear was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.

It is unknown if the Lincoln driver suffered any injuries in the crash.
