Why Did K-Macho Mexican Restaurant Really Close?

Popular Olathe Mexican restaurant, K-Macho, has been shuttered, leaving long time customers blindsided. While the reasons for the sudden closure is unclear, it could be because of a request from the Department of Homeland Security to provide documentation that its workers are legal.

Although a worker told reporters that K-Macho abruptly closed “for renovations,” mandated by its insurance company, sources say the eatery was really closed after an immigration raid.

Final Four Militia: FBI Killed Our Cell Phones

Four of the remaining Oregon occupiers holed up in the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge claim the FBI has somehow blocked their cell phones from placing outgoing calls, and incoming calls are being rerouted to the FBI.

One of the holdouts, David Fry, says he and three others hunkered down in the refuge, can no longer place outbound calls. Supporters who attempt to call Fry end up reaching the FBI instead. The internet, which the militia had been using for live video streaming, has also been interrupted.

At least 150 militia members, led by three sons of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, took control of the federal building in eastern Oregon early in January.

This is mind blowing! Homeland Security telling everyone in the world to disable JAVA STAT! All because the Oracle invention is a favorite among hackers!

HLS: “This and previous Java vulnerabilities have been widely targeted by attackers, and new Java vulnerabilities are likely to be discovered,” the agency said. “To defend against this and future Java vulnerabilities, disable Java in Web browsers.”

This is quite shocking because so many things run on JAVA, I mean it literally will put a lot of websites and apps out of business if folks can no longer use it!

Oracle declined to comment on the warning.

Surrounded: List of American Organizations Registered to Fly Drones

The FAA (Federal Aviation Authority) has been forced to release the list of ‘registered’ drone owners and users in the U.S., due to the ‘Freedom of Information Act’, which is “a federal freedom of information law that allows for the full or partial disclosure of previously unreleased information and documents controlled by the United States government.”

This list you are about to read, is only of the organizations who are actually ‘registered’ to fly unmanned drones, but the list does not include other groups or people who create and fly drones out of their homes. Continue reading

PLANNING AHEAD: U.S. Immigration Buys 450 Million Bullets

confused? Not anymore! This is the press release I received from ATK informing the world that HLS, Immigration and Customs enforcement aim to either keep America real safe or to start a major **** storm with a buy of an “Delivery/Indefinite Quantity” of .40 caliber hollow point bullets…

ANOKA, Minn., March 12, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ — ATK ATK +0.02% announced that it is being awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement from the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (DHS, ICE) for .40 caliber ammunition. This contract features a base of 12 months, includes four option years, and will have a maximum volume of 450 million rounds.

ATK was the incumbent and won the contract with its HST bullet, which has proven itself in the field. The special hollow point effectively passes through a variety of barriers and holds its jacket in the toughest conditions. HST is engineered for 100-percent weight retention, limits collateral damage, and avoids over-penetration.

“We are proud to extend our track record as the prime supplier of .40 caliber duty ammunition for DHS, ICE,” said Ron Johnson, President of ATK’s Security and Sporting group. “The HST is a proven design that will continue to serve those who keep our borders safe.”

ATK will produce the ammunition at the Federal Cartridge Company facility in Anoka, Minn. Deliveries are expected to begin in June.

ATK is an aerospace, defense, and commercial products company with operations in 22 states, Puerto Rico, and internationally. News and information can be found on the Internet at www.atk.com .
