Several SF 49ers joined Kaepernick in his pregame national anthem protest during week 6. Those players were also losers, maybe even double losers depending who you ask.

Devout Christian, Tim Tebow, who is taking part in an instructional league for the New York Mets, fielded a question on San Francisco 49ers benched quarterback Colin Kaepernick refusal to stand during the playing of the national anthem.
Surprisingly Tebow appears to support Kaepernick’s and other NFL players’ “right to protest,” while questioning the way it is being carried out.

Bruce Miller, the newly released San Francisco 49ers fullback who was arrested for assault and elder abuse, was caught on surveillance video moments after the incident near Fisherman’s Wharf.
Police said Miller tried to enter the wrong room at the Marriott Hotel and got into an altercation with a 70-year-old man and his 29-year-old son. Miller beat both men so badly, they required hospitalization.
According to officials, Miller then ran off to a Travelodge across the street, where the video was recorded. Desk assistant Danesh Shrasta said Miller was bleeding from the head and vomiting. Continue reading
A photo has surfaced depicting starting SF 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick wearing “pigs wearing cop hats” practice socks.
CBS Sports is reporting that Kaepernick has been wearing the offensive anti-cop socks “since at least Aug. 10,” but somehow hasn’t been asked by the NFL to remove them.
Despite being largely irrelevant on the field now, Kaepernick has managed to make himself the subject of a flood of headlines after he declared that he would no longer stand for the national anthem because America “oppresses” minorities and allows its cops to “murder” innocent people of color. Via NFL.com: Forty Niners quarterback Colin Kaepernick has willingly and knowingly immersed himself into controversy by refusing to stand for the playing of the cherished National Anthem in protest of what he deems are wrongdoings against African Americans and minorities in the United States.
His refusal to stand for the anthem came before the 49ers preseason loss to the Green Bay Packers at Levi’s Stadium.

Former St. Louis Rams running back, Lawrence Phillips, was found dead in his cell at Kern Valley State Prison. He was 40.
Early reports say the former NFL player committed suicide.
Phillips was convicted of choking his girlfriend and later of driving his car into three teens after a pickup football game. Continue reading

Manziel, aka Johnny Football, was spotted partying at a Vegas casino the night before a game according to a report by the USA Today.

Ray McDonald, who was recently arrested over physically assaulting a woman while she was holding a baby, was again arrested, this time over violating a stay away order.
McDonald, was was cut by the Chicago Bears Monday, was rearrested for violating a restraining order that was issued at the time of his prior arrest.
The Santa Clara PD released a statement shortly after his arrest on Wednesday:
On Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at about 2:52 PM., Santa Clara Detectives learned Ray McDonald violated a restraining order for being at a residence in Santa Clara. Detectives later located Ray McDonald at a nearby Togo’s Sandwiches, 2203 Tasman Dr. in Santa Clara. Ray McDonald was arrested without incident and transported to Santa Clara Police Department for processing. He will be booked at Santa Clara County Jail. Continue reading
