Current Texas’ Gov. and presidential hopeful Rick Perry has been indicted.
The indictment is said to be over an abuse of power after Perry carried out a threat to veto funding for state public corruption prosecutors.
The Republican governor is accused of abusing his official powers by publicly promising to veto $7.5 million for the state public integrity unit at the Travis County District Attorney’s office. He was indicted by an Austin grand jury Friday. Perry said he’d veto the funding if the district attorney, Rosemary Lehmberg, didn’t resign. Lehmberg had recently been convicted of drunken driving. The state’s Public Integrity Unit operates out of her office. When Lehmberg refused, Perry carried out his veto, drawing an ethics complaint. source
Perry is the first Texas governor indicted in nearly a century. He’s leaving office in January, but he’s a possible 2016 presidential run.
Steve Perry, iconic and elusive Journey frontman has been MIA since 1995, but that all changed when he walked on stage during the Eels’ concert to sing their 2000 cult hit “It’s a Motherf—er.”
Perry, NOW 65, also sang “Open Arms,” at the 1,000-capacity Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, Minn.
His voice, instantly recognizable, sounded a bit horse, however surprisingly strong considering his well-publicized health problems.
This is ridiculous! Katy Perry’s new massive hit “Roar” is it exact rip-off of a lesser-known artist by the name of Sara Bareilles! Her song, “Brave,” which preceded Perry’s hit, is the splitting image, or should I say splitting audio? Speaking of which, here’s a comparison mashup for your review!

Katy Perry in her Obama endorsement dress… Firstly, I think it is embarrassing to have someone like the crotchety “Biden” — So close to your crotch! And while we are on the subject, just where did Paul Ryan’s name disappear to? So I ask you – Hot or flop?

Katy Perry, who was a guest and musical performer at the 2012 Kids Choice Awards last night, wowed everyone again with her hypnotizing outfits, and also mesmerized them with her ‘gravity defying’ musical performance.
Perry’s recent divorce with Russell Brand hasn’t seemed to cramp her style, nor has she seemed upset about the split. Perry is going on with business as usual, except for the quick change she may have made- rearranging the entire performance at last night’s Kids Choice Awards show.
We love this photo shoot! Katy Perry looks so amazing!
Check out these photos that were taken of Katy Perry for Interview Magazine. She looks really great in black and white. The theme is old Hollywood burlesque.
Perry tells the magazine that her recent divorce with Russell is causing her music to go in a ‘dark’ direction, saying, “Well, my music is about get real f****** dark. I’ll be shoe-gazing. You’ll never see my face because my hair is in my face.”
