Funeral & GoFundMe Announced For Gregory Dorne AR Man Killed In Little Rock Crash

PULASKI COUNTY, AR. (THECOUNT) — Funeral arrangement have been announced for Gregory Dorne, of Cabot, Arkansas, who was identified as the victim in a fatal September 5th vehicle crash in Pulaski County.

Dorne, 26, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Little Rock on Saturday morning September 5th.

According to reports, Dorne was operating a vehicle on Interstate 630, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed ocenterlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then rolled over before coming to a rest on South Park Street in Little Rock Saturday around 4 a.m.

Dorne was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.

A viewing will occur Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the Premier Funeral Home located at 1518 S. Battery Street in Little Rock From 1pm to 6pm, The burial will take place at Arkansas Memorial Cemetery. Service will take place on Wednesday, September 15th at the 2100 Block of W. Charles Bussey Ave. starting at 11am.

Jeremy Dennis ID’d As Victim Found Shot Dead At Little Rock, AR Super Stop Saturday Morning

LITTLE ROCK, AR. (THECOUNT) — Jeremy Dennis has been identified as the victim in a Saturday morning homicide in Little Rock, Arkansas, according to reports.

Dennis, 27, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at the Super Stop across from Kaufman Lumber yard on Asher Ave Saturday morning, says the Little Rock Police Department.

Dennis was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries 2:40 a.m.

Around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, an officer was patrolling the area of Asher Avenue and found Jeremy Dennis, 27, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at the Super Stop at 5103 Asher Avenue, reports KATV.

Dennis’ body was taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy.

Police say that detectives interviewed multiple people and plan to review security video from nearby businesses.

No suspect description of a suspect was not provided by officials at this time.

Dead Body Found Behind Little Rock ‘Armadillo’s Hands’ Clothing Store Wednesday ‘Bound With Rope’

LITTLE ROCK, AR. (THECOUNT) — Little Rock Police Department are responding to reports of a dead body found in a wooded area behind 6400 Colonel Glenn. Google Maps shows clothing store, “Armadillo’s Hands,” at that address.

Some of the calls received by those at the scene, near U-Haul, mentioned the body was bound with rope, reports KARK.

No further information was immediately provided by officials.

Homicide detectives are investigating at this time.

Piranha Caught In Arkansas Lake

Arkansas Game and Fish Commission confirmed that a man eating piranha was caught in Arkansas’ Lake Bentonville last week.

Piranha are a scary fish with sharp fang-like teeth and rank among several species of exotic animals that are unlawful to import or transport.

According to AGFC Assistant Chief of Communications,  Keith Stephens, the fish was caught on Friday. Stephens said people have caught piranhas in Arkansas before, but they don’t last long.  “We get a few pacus and piranhas caught from time to time. They get to big from someone’s aquarium and they release them. They cannot survive our low winter water temperatures so no populations have ever been established,” Stephens said. h/t katv
