TN Man William Page ID’d As Victim In Saturday Nashville Vehicular Homicide

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — William Thomas Page, of Madison, Tennessee, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday aggravated vehicular homicide in Davidson County.

Page, 48, was killed in a motorcycle-versus-vehicle crash in Nashville late Saturday morning.

According to reports, Page was operating a Suzuki motorcycle on Elm Hill Pike near Fesslers Ln WB in Nashville, when the bike came into contact with a vehicle, operated by 40-year-old Christopher Wayne Dailey, of Nashville, around 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

Dailey was arrested at the scene after showing signs of impairment while performing standard field sobriety tests, according to arresting officials. He was later charged with aggravated vehicular homicide.

Dailey’s bond was set at $500,000.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

FL Woman Alexa Nix ID’d As Suspect In Saturday Night Deadly Jeep-VS-Motorcycle Hit-And-Run

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Alexa Elisabella Nix, of Clearwater, Florida, has been identified as the suspect arrested in a hit-and-run vehicle crash that killed a motorcyclist on Saturday night in Pinellas County.

Nix, 24, was taken into custody following a fatal hit-and-run vehicle-versus-motorcycle collision near Largo Saturday night.

According to reports, Nix was operating a Jeep Cherokee on South Missouri Avenue near Bayview Drive in Largo, when the vehicle came into contact with a motorcycle around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Nix then fled the scene.

The operator of the Can-Am motorcycle, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.

Nix was later located and arrested.

Nix remains jailed as of Sunday morning on a $40,500 bail.

The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.

FL Man Edward Harris Jr ID’d As Suspect In Saturday Night Crawfordville Fatal Shooting Of Woman

WAKULLA COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Edward McNeil Harris Jr, of Crawfordville, Florida, has been identified as the suspect arrested in the fatal overnight shooting of a female in Wakulla County.

Harris, 33, was taken into custody following a fatal shooting near Crawfordville Saturday night.

According to reports, Harris was arrested near Shadeville Rd and Spring Creek Hwy in Crawfordville and subsequently charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon following a Saturday night shooting in Crawfordville that took the life of an unidentified woman.

Harris is being held without bond in the Wakulla County Jail.

The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.

NY Man Tyrese Devon Haspil Arrested In Beheading Of Tech CEO Fahim Saleh

NEW YORK, NY. (THECOUNT) — Tyrese Devon Haspil, a former assistant of tech CEO Fahim Saleh, has been arrested in his murder, multiple sources said Friday.

Haspil, 21, is expected to be charged in murder of Saleh, who was found decapitated and dismembered inside his New York City apartment on Tuesday.

Detectives believe Haspil killed Saleh after discovering he allegedly embezzled tens of thousands of dollars from the CEO.

Saleh had declined to report the alleged theft to authorities after brokering a repayment plan with Haspil.

He was killed Monday, with Haspil allegedly first zapping him with a Taser and then fatally stabbing him, according to the Times. Haspil then allegedly returned the next day to chop up Saleh’s body and clean up the crime scene, reported NYPost on Friday.

The body of the CEO was discovered Tuesday by a concerned cousin who hadn’t heard from him in days, sources previously told The Post.

TX ‘Happy Paws’ Groomer ‘Leo Nava’ Arrested Over Shi-Poo Puppy Death During ‘Aggressive Grooming’

EL PASO COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Leobardo Nava, of El Paso, Texas, was arrested and charged with Animal Cruelty after his aggressive grooming led to the death of a Shi-Poo puppy at Happy Paws Dog Grooming in El Paso County.

“Leo” Nava, 31, was arrested Friday following an investigation in which authorities said evidence was found to indicate that the 16-week-old, Luccas, was handled roughly during his grooming and was grabbed forcefully by the neck and went limp.

Authorities said Nava then continued to aggressively groom Luccas.

Investigators told KTSM 9 News that Luccas demonstrated signs of pain and lethargy upon being picked up. The puppy was unable to eat or drink and cried out in pain when he attempted to walk.

Luccas died a short time later after returning home with its owner.

An examination by a veterinarian found that Luccas’ lungs were full of blood which indicated he died of a pulmonary edema caused by the stress of the incident.

Nava was arrested on Friday and has been charged with one count of Cruelty to Animals.

Police said he was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on this, as well as, Possession of Marijuana and outstanding traffic warrants.

CA Man Bryan Buhl ID’d As Driver In Thursday Night Fresno Fatal DUI Motorcycle Collision

TULARE COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — Bryan Michael Buhl of Visalia, California, has been identified as the driver in a fatal Thursday night DUI collision that killed a motorcyclist in Tulare County.

Buhl, 42, was arrested after to admitting to consuming alcohol following a fatal vehicle-versus-motorcycle crash Thursday night near Visalia.

According to reports, Buhl was operating a vehicle on West Caldwell Avenue near South West Street in Visalia, when he turned into the path of a motorcycle around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries. His name has not been released as of Friday morning.

Buhl was arrested and will be booked into the Tulare County jail.

MN Man Kevin Vereecke ID’d As Suspect In Tuesday St Paul Fatal Hit-And-Run Of Russell Bangert

RAMSEY COUNTY, MN. (THECOUNT) — Kevin Chad Vereecke, of Saint Paul, Minnesota, has been identified as the suspect in a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run vehicle strike on Tuesday.

Vereecke, 46, is accused of impaired driving after a vehicle he was operating struck and killed Minneapolis man, 61-year-old Russell William Bangert Tuesday afternoon in St. Paul.

According to St. Paul officials, officers responded to a report of a fatal hit-and-run vehicle crash involving a pedestrian around 4:45 p.m. on the 600 block of Vandalia Street. When first responders arrived, Bangert was found suffering from blunt force trauma injuries. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators later located Vereecke’s vehicle displaying incriminating damage based on surveillance video near the scene of the deadly crash.

Vereecke was taken into custody at his residence near Myrtle Avenue and Vandalia Street. He was booked into Ramsey County Jail on probable cause criminal vehicular operation. Other charges are likely forthcoming.

Phoenix Security Guard Arrested After Opens Fire On DES Client Who “Raised Voice”

Mahmood Almuwali has been named as the Tucson, Arizona security guard involved in a shooting at the Department of Economic Safety Thursday afternoon.

Almuwali, 30, was arrested Friday for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm within the city limits after he opened fire on a DES client he had just escorted out of the building.

Tucson Police say, Almuwali, (or Al Muwali,) escorted a man out of the building located near N Alvernon & E 2nd St, Phoenix, after the man “raised his voice” to a staff member. Continue reading

WI Parents Under Arrest After Boy, 7, Shoots 9-Year-Old Sister Dead In Milwaukee Home Alone

Milwaukee police say they have arrested the parents of 9-year-old Miyanna Jelks, the girl fatally shot by her younger brother while at a home on the city’s north side Saturday.

Investigators say Jelks and her younger brother were playing with the firearm when it accidentally discharged, striking and killing the girl.

Jelks was then rushed to the hospital where she died as a result of her injuries.

Police say the younger brother has been taken to the Milwaukee County Children’s Court Center. Jelk’s parents, a 29-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 32-year-old Milwaukee man, were arrested on multiple charges. Continue reading
