ANAHEIM, CA. (THECOUNT) — A Disneyland Anaheim worker was seriously injured in a trench collapse early Thursday morning.
The unidentified man suffered life-threatening injuries Thursday morning after a trench collapse caused a large steel plate to fall on him Thursday morning before 3:30 a.m.
Paramedics were called to the park about 3:20 a.m., where they located the injured man and rushed him to a hospital, according to a Metro Net Fire dispatcher. Metro Net Fire Dispatch provides 911 fire and paramedic dispatch services to eight Orange County cities, including Anaheim, reports FoxLA.
The employee went into cardiac arrest and paramedics provided CPR, it was reported.

Authoritied have opened a criminal investigation over holiday bread that sickened at least 40 people in California. The bread sold under the name Three Kings Day was found to contain a synthetic drug.
The bread was sold by Cholula’s Bakery in Santa Ana, Ca. People who consumed the bread experienced dizziness, palpitations, numbness and hallucinations.

Talk about an inside job! ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) — A 22-year-old Disneyland outdoor vending cast member has been arrested in connection with a dry ice explosion in Mickey’s Toontown area.
Anaheim police say Christian Barnes of Long Beach was taken into custody and booked on suspicion of possessing a destructive device. He is being held on $1 million bail.
Authorities received reports of people hearing a small bang in a trash can within Mickey’s Toontown just before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Officers found remnants of a water bottle, which was indicative of a dry ice explosion, police said.
There were no reports of injuries or property damage. Disneyland officials said an evacuation was conducted out of an abundance of caution.
Police say he is cooperating with investigators and has indicated that this was an isolated incident with “unanticipated impacts.”
Our beloved world-famous skateboard star, Tony Hawk, had a skating accident this weekend at “Action Sports Weekend”, an event at Downtown Disney’s Main Plaza in Anaheim, CA.
Tony was giving the crowd a demonstration on how to land a “540″ and failed. Tony had to be taken to the UC Irvine Trauma Center, and Tony’s blog said that Tony’s diagnosis was a “sheared pelvis and severe hematoma”.
Tony later tweeted: “I will no longer take walking for granted.”
