DELTA, OH. (THECOUNT) — A 29-year-old Cloverdale, Ohio man identified as Blaine Warnimont was killed Sunday evening in a two-vehicle crash at a Fulton County intersection involving a minivan and an SUV, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred just before 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 109 and Fulton County Road D near Delta, Ohio.

Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Toledo Post said Warnimont was traveling south on State Route 109 when the crash occurred, while Gabriel Caley, 25, of Fayette, Ohio, was traveling west on Fulton County Road D.
According to investigators, Caley failed to stop at a posted stop sign at the intersection and entered State Route 109, where his SUV struck Warnimont’s minivan.
Following the impact, both vehicles left the roadway and traveled off the southwest corner of the intersection, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers reported the vehicles struck a utility pole and a cable box before coming to rest in a nearby cornfield.
Warnimont was transported to Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon, Ohio, where he was later pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the crash.
A passenger in Warnimont’s minivan was transported to the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio, for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision.
Caley was transported to Fulton County Health Center and treated for minor injuries, according to authorities.
Troopers said failure to obey the posted stop sign was listed as a contributing factor in the crash. Officials also noted Warnimont was not wearing a safety belt.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
