KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Edward D. Dempsey, of Pierceton, Indiana, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday night fatal motorcycle crash in Kosciusko County.
Dempsey, 55, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Pierceton Thursday night.
According to reports, Dempsey was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on State Road 13 near East Shoop Road in Pierceton, when for unknown reasons, the bike exited the roadway around 10 p.m. Thursday. The bike then came into contact with a wooden platform.
Dempsey, who was thrown from the bike during the wreck, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
