OHIO COUNTY, WV. (THECOUNT) — Missy Ann Grubba, of Wheeling, West Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a Friday fatal motorcycle crash in Ohio County.
Grubba, 44, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Wheeling early Friday morning.
According to reports, Grubba was traveling as a passenger on a motorcycle operated by a male on Interstate 70 near Exit 1B, when for unknown reasons, the bike exited the roadway and came into contact with a concrete barrier around 1:20 a.m. Friday.
Grubba, who was ejected from the bike during the wreck, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The male operator of the motorcycle was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
Officials say charges are expected to be filed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
