WALSH COUNTY, ND. (THECOUNT) — Dominic Billmeier, 23, of Chatfield, Minnesota, has been identified as the driver in a Thursday night fatal vehicle crash in Walsh County.
An unidentified 23-year-old woman was killed, and Karisa Lunski, 25, of Minto, suffered serious injuries, in a Thursday night rollover crash near Minto.
According to reports, Billmeier was operating a Mercury Grand Marquis on Walsh County Road near Minto, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle rolled over around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
Two female passengers were ejected during the wreck.
Lunski was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
The other female passenger died of injuries suffered in the crash.
Billmeier was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.
The Highway Patrol said charges are pending.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
