Lindsay Clancy Parents Launch GoFundMe Quickly Rack Up $660K Of $2M Goal

DUXBURY, MA. (THECOUNT) — Mike and Paula Musgrove, the parents of Lindsay Clancy, are seeking financial support as they continue standing by their daughter during her ongoing murder trial in Massachusetts.

The couple has launched the Musgrove Family Fund, a GoFundMe campaign with a $2 million goal. According to the fundraiser, the money is intended to help the couple recover from the substantial financial strain they say they have experienced while supporting Clancy throughout her criminal case.

GoFundMe confirmed to media outlets that the fundraiser, organized by Brandee Mulligan, of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, has been verified to be connected to Clancy.

As of the latest update provided for the fundraiser, more than $660,000 had raised toward the $2 million goal in just 5 days, comprising of over 20,000 donations and counting.

Clancy is currently on trial in connection with the January 2023 deaths of her three young children — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months — at the family’s Duxbury home.

Prosecutors allege Clancy killed the children using exercise bands inside the residence. Clancy has pleaded not guilty.

The case has drawn national attention, with the defense and prosecution offering sharply different accounts of Clancy’s mental state and the circumstances surrounding the deaths.

Clancy’s defense has argued that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis at the time of the deaths and has raised questions about the support and treatment she received. Prosecutors have presented their own account of the events as the trial continues.
