GREENE COUNTY, IA. (THECOUNT) — Shiena Marie Hadley and Ryan Michael Vaughn, both of Jefferson, Iowa, have been identified as the victims in a Saturday night double-fatal vehicle crash in Greene County.
Hadley, 41, and 32-year-old Vaughn, were both killed in a single-vehicle crash near Grand Junction Saturday night.
According to reports, Hadley and Vaughn were traveling in a vehicle on Highway 30 near T Avenue in Grand Junction, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 9 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle then entered a ditch before rolling over and making contact with a tree.
Both victims, who were ejected from the vehicle during the wreck, were pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
