SPENCER COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Michael Tyler Seger, 27, Fernanda Cruz Valencia, 23, Bernard William Goeppner, 65 and Donna Cassidy, 60, all of Holland, Indiana, have been identified as the victims in a Saturday night quadruple-fatal vehicle crash in Spencer County.
Christopher Allen, 56, of Fort Branch, Indiana, has been identified as the injured driver of the second involved vehicle.
According to reports, Seger was operating a Jeep Cherokee on U.S. 231 between Santa Claus and the Ohio River, when the vehicle failed to stop at a posted stop sign around 6 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle then collided with a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck operated by Allen.
Seger and his three passengers were pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
Allen was treated on-scene for minor injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the wreck is ongoing.
