HUNT COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Westen Hurst, of Garland, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday fatal vehicle crash in Hunt County.
Hurst, 29, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor early Thursday morning.
According to reports, Westen was operating a Nissan Versa on FM-1903 near Interstate 30 in Greenville, when the vehicle came into rear-end contact with a big-rig around 3:30 a.m. Thursday.
Garland was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The truck driver was not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
