OR Man Cyrus Pino ID’d As Rider In Tuesday Woodburn Fatal Motorcycle Crash

WOODBURN, OR. (THECOUNT) — Cyrus Pino, of Oregon, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash Tuesday evening in Woodburn, according to authorities. Pino was 35.

The crash occurred just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Butteville Road NE and Lebrun Road NE in Woodburn, a city located in Marion County between Portland and Salem. Officers responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

According to the preliminary investigation, a Dodge pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Lebrun Road NE when it attempted to turn left onto Butteville Road NE.

Authorities said a motorcycle traveling southbound on Butteville Road NE subsequently collided with the pickup during the turn.

The impact resulted in fatal injuries to the motorcyclist, identified as Pino. He was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officials.

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured, remained at the scene, and is cooperating with investigators.

Officials stated that preliminary information does not indicate the crash was criminal in nature. No charges have been announced.

Emergency crews secured the intersection while investigators processed the scene. The roadway remained closed for approximately four hours as part of the on-scene investigation.
