MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ. (THECOUNT) — Bobby Montano, of Phoenix, Arizona, has been identified as the suspect arrested in a fatal Friday night stabbing in Maricopa County.
Montano, 37, is accused of kidnapping his girlfriend, who was later found stabbed to death in Phoenix late Friday night.
According to reports, police responded to the area of East Indian School Road and North Central Avenue in Phoenix, on reports of a stabbing in progress around 10 p.m. Friday. When they arrived, an unidentified female victim was found suffering from multiple stab wounds.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene of stab wound injuries.
Montano was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and kidnapping. He was later booked into Maricopa County Jail.
The victim’s name and details on the alleged kidnapping were not provided.
