LUBBOCK COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Santiago Serbin Jr., of Shallowater, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday fatal vehicle crash in Lubbock County.
Serbin, 68, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Shallowater Wednesday night.
According to reports, for unknown reasons, Serbin was operating a vehicle on opposing lanes of FM 2378 near CR-6400 in Shallowater, when the vehicle came into contact with another vehicle around 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The driver of the other involved vehicle suffered only minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Serbin was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
