FORREST COUNTY, MS. (THECOUNT) — Michael Dale Leaman, of Lumberton, Mississippi, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday night fatal vehicle crash in Forrest County.
Leaman, 50, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Lumberton Tuesday night.
According to reports, Leaman was operating a 1977 Jeep CJ7 on MS-13 from Old Highway 13 in Lumberton, when the vehicle came into contact with a Ford Focus, operated by 76-year-old Paul Rigby, of Wiggins, around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Leaman was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
It is unknown if Rigby suffered any injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
