SEQUOYAH COUNTY, OK. (THECOUNT) — Meghan Lane, of Gore, Oklahoma, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday night fatal vehicle crash in Sequoyah County.
Lane, 33, was killed, and another person seriously injured, in a Wednesday two-vehicle crash near Gore.
According to reports, Lane was operating a Hyundai Tucson on OK-100 near Gore, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. The then vehicle came into contact with a Toyota Tacoma.
Lane was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The Toyota driver, who was not publicly identified, was transported to a Tulsa hospital with internal injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
