FREEBORN COUNTY, MN. (THECOUNT) — Larry Helgeson, of Rose Creek, Minnesota, has been identified as the victim in a Monday night fatal motorcycle crash in Freeborn County.
Helgeson, 70, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash near Austin Monday night.
According to reports, Helgeson was operating a motorcycle on 890th Ave near Myrtle, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 6:10 p.m. Monday. The bike then flipped over, ejecting the rider.
Helgeson was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
