HORRY COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Kamiyah Belvin, of Henderson, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Friday fatal wrong-way vehicle crash in Horry County, South Carolina.
“Miyah” Belvin, 23, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near North Myrtle Beach Friday morning. Four other individuals were hurt in the wreck.
According to reports, a vehicle was traveling the wrong-way on SC-31 near Mile Marker 3 in North Myrtle Beach, when the vehicle came into head-on contact with another vehicle around 5 a.m. Friday.
Police did not specify which vehicle Belvin was traveling.
In all, four people were injured in the crash. The extent of their injuries was not provided as of Friday evening.
Belvin was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
