EATON COUNTY, MI. (THECOUNT) — Bradly Christopher Hugmeyer from Saranac, Michigan, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday fatal vehicle crash in Eaton County.
‘Brad’ Hugmeyer, 21, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Grand Ledge Wednesday night.
According to reports, Hugmeyer was operating a Jeep Grand Cherokee on West Grand Ledge Highway near M50, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with a semi-tractor.
Hugmeyer was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The semi-truck driver was uninjured in the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
