EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — LaMontache Williams, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday night fatal vehicle crash in East Baton Rouge Parish.
Williams, 45, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a dump truck in Baton Rouge Wednesday night.
According to reports, Williams was operating an SUV on Scenic Highway near Thomas Road in Baton Rouge, when the vehicle came into rear-end contact with a dump truck around 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Williams was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The dump truck driver was not hurt in the collision.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
