Mystery: R&B Singer Keith Martin Found Dead At 55 In Philippines Condo

QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES. (THECOUNT) — R&B singer-songwriter and EMI PI house producer, Keith Martin, passed away unexpectedly at 55 years old.

The singer and producer was reportedly found dead in the Philippines. A cause of death has not been disclosed.

Martin was found unresponsive while at his Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines condo building.

Filipino entertainer Sheree Bautista was the first to announce the sad news on social media. She had recently collaborated with Martin on YouTube.

Sheree confirmed to that Keith was found dead in his Quezon City condominium.

Neighbors of Martin were complaining of a foul odor coming from his unit, which prompted them to call security and the unit owners.

Initial findings say that it has already been a week since the R&B singer has passed away in his unit, although autopsy results have yet to confirm the exact details, reports musictimes.

Sheree recounted that she noticed that the singer was unwell the last time they met. She also added that Martin was all alone in his unit and had been “heart-broken” since his split with his Filipina girlfriend last year.

“Little did I know this is the last time I’m seeing you and hearing your loud ass voice! kitkit! you will be missed! ,” Sheree said in a Facebook post of the pair’s Youtube collab.

Martin has been living in the Philippines for quite a while now after being hired as an in-house producer by EMI Records in the Philippines.

The 55-year old singer has been consistently collaborating with local talents while in the Philippines, including Bautista, Luke Mijares, and Jinky Vidal.

Martin was last seen in public at The Voice of the Philippines semi-finalist Daryl Ong’s wedding last March 12, 2022, in the Philippines.

At the moment, there has been no formal confirmation from Martin’s family on the circumstances of his death.
