Attack On Fast Food Workers As 3 Dead In Coast To Coast Weekend Robberies

LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — Two young women working at Burger King restaurants in different states, were fatally shot in as many days during suspected robberies. A third fast food worker, working at Taco Bell in Los Angeles, was also fatally shot overnight.

Kristal Bayron-Nieves, 19, was fatally shot in an apparent armed robbery overnight while working at a Manhattan Burger King. Niesha Harris-Brazell, 16, was fatally shot Saturday night while working at a Milwaukee Burger King. The Taco Bell worker killed has yet to be identified.

Niesha Harris-Brazell was working at the Burger King at North 51st Boulevard and West Capitol Drive when Milwaukee police said someone tried to rob the restaurant and opened fire, killing the teen.

Nieves, 19, was working the night shift as a cashier at Burger King at 154 E 116th St in New York, when she was fatally shot by a robber early Sunday, authorities said.

A gunman opened fire Saturday night in a drive-thru at a Taco Bell in South Los Angeles, killing an employee, authorities said.

The shooting occurred shortly before 11 p.m. at the fast-food restaurant near the intersection of Century and Avalon boulevards, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson said.
