MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ. (THECOUNT) — Diana Veronica Fletes and Shawn Stokes, both of Phoenix, Arizona, have been identified as the victims in a double-fatal motorcycle crash Saturday night in Maricopa County.
Fletes, 46, and 30-year-old Stokes, were both killed in a two-vehicle crash in Phoenix Saturday night.
According to reports, Stokes and Fletes were traveling on a motorcycle in Phoenix, when the bike came into contact with a passenger vehicle around 9:20 p.m. Saturday.
Stokes, the operator of the motorcycle, and Fletes, his passenger, were both pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the vehicle and a teenager passenger suffered minor injuries in the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
