GUILFORD COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Latoya Marie Watlington, of Greensboro, North Carolina, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck Friday night by a vehicle in Guilford County.
Watlington, 36, was killed after a vehicle strike in Greensboro Friday night.
According to reports, Watlington was on-foot in the area of South Elm-Eugene Street near West Meadowview Road in Greensboro, when she was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado around 8:30 p.m. Friday.
Watlington was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The male SUV driver, who remained on-scene, was not injured.
