PROVIDENCE COUNTY, RI. (THECOUNT) — Nicholas Shepherd Harris, of Chepachet, Rhode Island, has been identified as the victim in a fatal overnight motorcycle crash in Providence County.
Harris, 35, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash near Glocester early Tuesday morning.
According to reports, Harris was operating a motorcycle on Route 44 near Jackson Schoolhouse Road in Chepachet, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Harris was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
