SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Davis M. Gwaro, of Jersey City, New Jersey, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday fatal vehicle crash in Somerset County.
Gwaro, 35, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Bridgewater early Tuesday morning.
According to reports, Gwaro was operating a vehicle on Interstate 287 near I-78, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 1 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then made contact with a guardrail before colliding with a fence and a tree.
Gwaro was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
