HINDS COUNTY, MS. (THECOUNT) — Damarco Deonte Gaines, of Jackson, Mississippi, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday morning fatal shooting in Hinds County.
Gaines, 24, was found shot dead in Jackson early Saturday morning.
According to reports, police responded to Parcel Drive in Jackson on reports of shots fired. When they arrived, Gaines was found suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Gaines was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.
Investigators are still gathering information on possible suspects and motive.
