PLYMOUTH COUNTY, MA. (THECOUNT) — James and Jenna Ripley, of Halifax, Massachusetts, have been identified as the victims in a Friday night double-fatal motorcycle crash in Plymouth County.
James, 58, and his 19-year-old daughter Jenna, were both killed in a single-motorcycle crash near Hanson Friday night.
According to reports, James was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on the 600 block of Monponsett Street near Hill Road in Hanson, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 9:30 p.m. Friday. The bike then came into contact with a metal pole.
James was transported to an area hospital where he was later was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
Jenna, who is believed to have been a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
