HARVEY COUNTY, KS. (THECOUNT) — Denice and Raymond Bina of Marion, Kansas, have been identified as the victims in a Saturday double-fatal vehicle crash in Harvey County.
Denice, 65, and 71-year-old Ray, were both killed in a vehicle wreck involving a big-rig near Newton Saturday afternoon.
According to reports, Denice was operating a Lincoln MKZ on Interstate 135 near Newton, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 2 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle then reentered the roadway and collided with semi-tractor.
The couple was killed in the collision.
A 25-year-old Udall man operating the semi was not hurt.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
