TALLADEGA COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Jodie Polarie, of Cropwell, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday fatal vehicle crash in Talladega County.
Polarie, 50, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Munford early Sunday morning.
According to reports, Polarie was operating a Chevrolet Trailblazer on Cheaha Road in Munford, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 3:30 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle then made contact with a grouping of trees.
Polarie was pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
